Citizens of 35 countries are eligible for 90-day Visa-exempt entry and 6 countries for 30-day Visa-exempt entry. The visitors' passport should be with validity of at least six months after entry. For detailed requirement, please click here. - Landing Visa

Please be noted that National Immigration Agency makes the final decision if the application is approved or not. Transportation
Airport Transportation:
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is located in the nearby Taoyuan County, approximately 40 kilometers or about 50-minute ride from the city center Taipei. Getting around is easy and relatively cheap.

Songshan Airport is located in the city center and accessible by the Taipei Metro. (See Taipei Metro Service Map)
Local Transportation (Metro, Bus and Taxi):
Taipei has a convenient public transportation system. The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) is very efficient and connects most sub-areas of Taipei. The recommended meeting venue Taipei International Convention Center is close to one of MRT stations (10 minutes walking distance). The fare, calculated by distance, is relatively cheap. The bus system and taxi are also cheap, reliable and efficient. Taipei's taxis are easily identifiable by their bright yellow color as well as the “Taxi” light on their roofs. Taxis charge by the meter. The basic fare is NT$70 (USD$2.3) for the first 1.65 kilometers, and NT$5 for every additional 350 meters. Taxi can be called on the street 24 hours.
